How we work

Six steps from your first call to the finished job

You always know what happens next, who is on site and what it costs. Nothing is ordered and no ground is broken until the price and the drawing are agreed in writing.

You send us the job through the quote form or call us. We come back the same working day, and it is Craig who replies, not a call centre.

Free site survey

We visit, take levels and measurements, and check access and drainage before quoting. No charge and no obligation to book anything in.

Step three

Written quote

A fixed, itemised price. Materials, labour and timescale in writing, so there are no day rate surprises once the diggers arrive.

Step four

Design and materials

We agree the layout, the finish and the aggregate or paving with you before anything is ordered. Samples on site where it helps you decide.

Step five

The build

Excavation, sub-base, drainage, then the surface. The same team throughout and the site cleared down at the end of every day.

Step six

Handover

We walk the finished job with you, hand over the written guarantee and the aftercare notes, and take the rubbish with us.

Most domestic projects run from survey to handover inside three to four weeks.

Depends on size, access and the surface. Most domestic driveways run one to two weeks including excavation, sub-base and the finished surface.

Usually not for a permeable surface such as resin bound or gravel. A non permeable surface over five square metres draining to the road may need it. We advise on this at survey.

Yes. Excavated material and old surfacing are removed and disposed of legally. It is priced into the quote.

Yes. We build to a designer's drawings or design the scheme ourselves.
